What happens if the webcam doesn't work for skype...? - how do i set default webcam in skype
I have to download the latest version of Skype software. (ie the last one I downloaded in July ..)
I bought a new laptop in July, has a built-in camera on your computer ... but does not work. I try to touch via video chat using Skype, but sometimes not sometimes work, and now not at all.
Apparently I have the Cyberlink software for my camera, but even if I try to open it, I can not see on the computer, so if I will make a picture, it's black. I've also heard that Skype and YouCam work together not good ... If this is true, please let me know.
I also played with video settings, but when I started to default, there is only black. Should I my video settingss for my webcam? Or is there something I need to download or get something for my webcam? (Note that this is the first time I have a webcam with Skype or never is.)
(For more information: I have a laptop (HP G60-445DX - I do not know if you have this information))
Here are my questions ...:
Features 1) How to use webcam (base, etc. ..)
2) Is my webcam compatible with Skype? (can be used with YouCam the same thing?)
3) Should I use my settings for the webcam with Skype Video Chat?
4) What can I do to make it work.

While the unit is installed the correct driver, you should be able to use with any application on your computer. However, only one application can use the camera at a time - so make sure that no other software (eg software to burn youtube, open, etc.) when you try the camera on the use of Skype.
